This sport originates from Italy and Spain, and is played on a beach volleyball court, with a net height of 180cm, by 2-2 players or 1-1players (smaller court-size in case of singles)
The rules were laid down officially in 1997. In Hungary the sport first appeared 3 years ago, a collaborator of MTSz got acquainted closer with the sport, and in 2009 they could participate on the word championship in Rome, where they acquired valuable experiences and professional accessories. Since then free Hungarians (Bor, Uzonyi, Tanai) made it on the world rankings, and Hungarians play on more and more international tournaments, with better and better results.

1. The Court


The court shall be a rectangle, a minimum of 16m to a maximum of 20m long and a minimum of 8m to a maximum of 9m wide. In Hungary the 16x8m is the standard. The court shall be divided across the middle by a net, which shall be hold by two netposts. The net shall be fully extended so that it completely fills the space between the two net posts and it must be of sufficiently small mesh to ensure that a ball cannot pass through it.
